Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Boros combat engine commanded by Winota, Joiner of Forces. The primary strategy focuses on curving out low-cost non-Human creatures and token generators across Turns 1 through 3, followed by deploying Winota on Turn 3 or 4 to trigger massive, explosive combat steps. Each attacking non-Human digs six cards deep into the library to put impactful Humans directly onto the battlefield tapped, attacking, and indestructible. Payoffs like Angrath's Marauders, Goldnight Commander, and Combat Celebrant multiply damage exponentially, while hatebears such as Thalia, Guardian of Thraben and Grand Abolisher hinder opponent interaction. The deck also includes an infinite combat combo via Helm of the Host and Combat Celebrant. While remarkably fast and resilient to destruction sweepers, the deck is vulnerable to targeted removal aimed at Winota before combat attacks are declared and depends heavily on maintaining an active non-Human board presence.
