Deck overview

This Gruul turbo deck leverages aggressive mana acceleration to cast Etali, Primal Conqueror as early as Turn 3 or 4. Upon entering the battlefield, Etali exiles cards from all four libraries until hitting nonland cards, casting all four for free. The deck capitalizes on this ability by playing numerous low-cost clone and copy spells such as Molten Duplication, Twinflame, and Heat Shimmer, which trigger Etali repeatedly to steal massive amounts of resources from opponents. In addition to overwhelming combat presence and Etali's alternate poison-kill transformation, the deck features deterministic win conditions including Dualcaster Mage with Twinflame and Food Chain with Squee, the Immortal. While vulnerable to well-timed board wipes and countermagic, the deck's high density of rituals and redundancy in copy effects ensures fast, explosive game closes.
