Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy Sultai kindred midrange strategy built around Maralen, Fae Ascendant. The early game focuses on deploying efficient Elf mana dorks and sticky Faerie token generators to establish a wide board presence. Once Maralen enters the battlefield, every entering Elf or Faerie exiles cards from opposing libraries, allowing you to cast high-impact spells for free once each turn, including on opponents' turns using flash enablers like Leyline of Anticipation and High Fae Trickster. The deck overwhelms opponents with card advantage engines like Kindred Discovery and Rhystic Study while locking down key threats with an elite suite of low-cost countermagic and removal. Combat damage is amplified by kindred lords like Elvish Archdruid, Scion of Oona, and Tegwyll, Duke of Splendor, and can be closed out quickly via Notorious Throng or Lathril, Blade of the Elves.
