Deck overview

This deck is a mono-black aristocrats and reanimator strategy commanded by Witch-king of Angmar. The commander acts as a defensive deterrent and instant-speed discard outlet, protecting your life total while you fill your graveyard. The primary game plan develops early disposable creatures and mana acceleration, transitioning into potent card-draw and sacrifice engines by Turn 4. On Turn 5, the deck presents a decisive win condition through an infinite life-drain combo with Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose and Bloodthirsty Conqueror, or by tutoring through Razaketh, the Foulblooded. If opponents disrupt the combo, the deck seamlessly pivots to massive board recursion with Living Death, devastating drain via Gray Merchant of Asphodel, or asymmetric creature locks with Grave Pact. Abundant low-cost reanimation spells ensure the engine recovers rapidly from removal and board wipes.
