Deck overview

This five-color thematic deck pairs Leonardo, the Balance and Michelangelo, the Heart using the Partner-Character select mechanic. The primary game plan revolves around leveraging Michelangelo's combat trigger to generate Food tokens and place counters, which in turn triggers Leonardo's ability to distribute +1/+1 counters across the entire board. Midgame combat is reinforced by fellow Turtle legends, Mutagen tokens, and Ninjutsu-style Sneak mechanics. The deck aims to close games around Turn 7 to 9 through overwhelming combat steps, granting trample, menace, and lifelink with Leonardo's five-color activation or doubling damage with Raphael, the Nightwatcher. Because the list prioritizes theme, it operates with standard pacing, relying on basic land drops and fair creature exchanges rather than fast combo finishes.
