Deck overview

Under Commander Massimo, the Magician, this deck builds a tempo-oriented spellslinger strategy that leverages a swarm of unblockable creatures to repeatedly copy cheap instants and sorceries from the graveyard. The core plan is to fill the graveyard with 1-mana spells (cantrips, removal, pump) via looting and mill effects, then attack with evasive threats like Slither Blade and Invisible Stalker to copy those spells for free each combat. Secondary damage comes from pinger permanents such as Guttersnipe and Kessig Flamebreather, which turn each noncreature spell into table-wide burn. Great Train Heist provides a one-time extra combat, and True Conviction or Berserkers' Onslaught give double strike to accelerate the clock. There are no infinite combos; the deck wins through incremental value and combat damage, relying on Massimo to sustain advantage.
