Deck overview

This deck is a Golgari token swarm and aristocrat strategy led by Hazel of the Rootbloom. It accelerates mana in the early turns to deploy Hazel on turn 3, immediately duplicating Squirrel, Food, and Treasure tokens. On turn 4, Hazel taps those tokens to generate large mana bursts, deploying premier token producers like Deep Forest Hermit and Chatterfang, Squirrel General. On turn 5, the deck transitions into a lethal threat using mass pump spells like Beastmaster Ascension and End-Raze Forerunners, or life-draining engines like Valley Rotcaller and Bastion of Remembrance. Card draw engines such as Skullclamp and Toski, Bearer of Secrets keep resources flowing across extended games. The deck also contains a compact infinite combo between Bloodthirsty Conqueror and Starscape Cleric. While vulnerable to mass board wipes due to a lack of stack protection, its high redundancy and rapid rebuilding ensure consistent, aggressive multiplayer pressure.
