Deck overview

This Jeskai deck commands a synergistic go-wide token strategy spearheaded by Kasla, the Broken Halo. The game plan revolves around generating small creature tokens early using efficient generators such as Third Path Iconoclast, Prosperous Partnership, and Battle Screech. These creatures double as mana sources through the convoke mechanic, enabling you to cast Kasla, the Broken Halo ahead of curve and cycle through your library with her scry-and-draw triggers. As the game develops, the deck transitions from value generation to lethal combat pressure using mass pump effects like Virtue of Loyalty, Champions from Beyond, and Jeskai Ascendancy, or unblockable strikes enabled by Tetsuko Umezawa, Fugitive. Reactive spells like Artistic Refusal and Ephemeral Shields take advantage of convoke to protect the board while fully tapped out. Although vulnerable to mass exile wipes and lacking high-speed tutors, the deck delivers consistent mid-game board presence, flexible interaction, and resilient combat finishes.
