Deck overview

This deck is a mono-blue midrange engine commanded by Minn, Wily Illusionist. The strategy focuses on drawing two cards on as many turns as possible—both your own and your opponents'—to trigger Minn repeatedly. Each trigger creates an Illusion token that scales in power with every other Illusion you control. When these Illusions die in combat or via sacrifice outlets like Skullclamp, Minn cheats permanent cards directly from your hand onto the battlefield. The deck backs up this creature engine with deep cantrip selection, powerful clone effects such as Spark Double and Sakashima of a Thousand Faces, and a robust suite of efficient countermagic to protect its board. It wins by overwhelming opponents with massive unblockable combat damage or dropping high-impact threats well ahead of curve.
