Deck overview

This Grixis mid-range deck is led by Sauron, the Dark Lord. It controls the game by building massive Orc Armies, draining opponents through Ring temptation triggers, and using powerful graveyard reanimation. The commander generates steady board presence and substantial card draw whenever an Army deals combat damage. In the early game, you establish mana rocks and cast Ring-tempting spells such as the Nazgul. In the mid-game, you fuel your graveyard with efficient discard and Entomb effects. You then win by overwhelming the table with reanimated bombs like Ancient Brass Dragon and Lord of the Nazgul, or by resolving game-ending spells like Insurrection, Breach the Multiverse, and Living Death.
