Deck overview

This deck is a four-color control deck helmed by Jace, Multiverse Architect, combining planeswalker value with an explosive polymorph package. The primary game plan develops mana rocks and low-cost token generators across the opening turns, deploying Jace on Turn 4 to immediately activate his -3 ability and cheat an overwhelming creature or planeswalker onto the battlefield. Secondary cheat enablers like Proteus Staff, Mass Polymorph, and Synthetic Destiny provide redundant paths to flip token swarms into game-ending threats like Archon of Cruelty, Serra's Emissary, and Archfiend of Despair. The deck controls board tempo using Jace's built-in combat tax, targeted exile removal, and asymmetric sweepers while proliferating loyalty with Tekuthal, Inquiry Dominus. Once critical onset is achieved on Turn 5, evasive beaters and combat multipliers close the game across two response cycles, eliminating all opponents by Turn 7.
