Deck overview

This Jeskai Superfriends control deck is led by Commodore Guff, aiming to dominate multiplayer tables through planeswalker density, pillowfort defense, counter proliferation, and asymmetric sweepers. The early game focuses on deploying 2-CMC mana rocks and defensive speed bumps like Silent Arbiter, Baird, Steward of Argive, and Norn's Annex to deter opposing attacks. During the midgame, the deck establishes an engine of multiple planeswalkers alongside multipliers like Oath of Teferi and Ichormoon Gauntlet, generating massive card advantage and mana velocity. Static hate pieces like Narset, Parter of Veils and Teferi, Time Raveler break parity by silencing opposing countermagic and choking card draw. The deck finishes the table around Turn 8 through non-combat burn engines like All Will Be One and Commodore Guff -3, counter-doubling bursts with Deepglow Skate, or mass aerial combat via Sarkhan the Masterless.
