Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Vampire tribal and aristocrats strategy commanded by Edgar Markov. It exploits Edgar's eminence ability to generate free 1/1 Vampire tokens with every Vampire spell cast, rapidly building a wide board presence from the earliest turns without requiring the commander on the battlefield. The game plan focuses on deploying low-mana Vampires on curve, buffing the token swarm with tribal lords like Stromkirk Captain and Legion Lieutenant, and converting creature density into life drain through aristocrat pieces such as Elas il-Kor, Sadistic Pilgrim and Commissar Severina Raine. Board wipes are punished by death triggers and mitigated by protection like Flare of Fortitude, while Ruinous Ultimatum and Blasphemous Edict clear opposing blockers. With steady card draw from engines like Rumor Gatherer and Preacher of the Schism, the deck relentlessly pressures life totals, culminating in an overwhelming alpha strike or lethal aristocrat drain by Turn 7.
