Deck overview

This is a Selesnya populate and lifegain deck built around Trostani, Selesnya's Voice. It aims to create creature tokens, gain life every time they enter, and multiply that board with populate effects. Life total is both a resource and a finisher: Nykthos Paragon and Archangel of Thune turn lifegain into huge +1/+1 counters, while Soul of Eternity and Aetherflux Reservoir can convert a high life total directly into damage. Secondary wins come from Halo Fountain's 15-tap activation and a Finale of Devastation-fueled haste swing. The hidden commander in the 99 is Rhys the Redeemed, who offers another populate engine and token doubler.
