Commander: The Great Goblin

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a Rakdos Goblin tribal/aristocrats deck helmed by The Great Goblin, built around a persist-combo core. The commander converts every +1/+1 counter placed on a Goblin, Orc, or Army into 2 damage and every death into card advantage (exiling the top card, playable until end of next turn). The primary win is the Metallic Mimic + persist loop: Murderous Redcap or Putrid Goblin returns with a -1/-1 counter that Mimic's +1/+1 counter cancels, enabling infinite sacrifice triggers through Goblin Bombardment, Phyrexian Altar, Warren Soultrader, or Skirk Prospector. Secondary lines include Goblin Recruiter stacking into Muxus, Goblin Grandee for a mass cheat, Krenko, Mob Boss token swarms, and Purphoros, God of the Forge / Impact Tremors ping damage. A dense ritual package and an eight-tutor suite accelerate the combo, while Blood Moon punishes greedy mana bases.
