Corruption by Gispachio

Format: Commander

Commander: Ixhel, Scion of Atraxa

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a midrange Abzan poison/proliferate deck. The primary plan is to put a poison counter on each opponent early, then use repeatable proliferate effects to push all three to ten counters before a hasted infect beater or corrupted payoff closes the game. Ixhel, Scion of Atraxa provides flying, vigilance, toxic 2, and a corrupted end-step engine that exiles and allows casting from an opponent's library once that player has three or more poison counters. Secondary paths include reanimation (Geth's Summons, Vat Emergence) and mass token/life spells (White Sun's Twilight, Wurmquake). The deck has no fast combo; it wins through incremental counters, board presence, and value.
