Deck overview

Mister Negative helms a life-manipulation strategy that treats life totals as a resource to draw cards, win via infinite drain, or exploit threshold effects like Near-Death Experience. The core plan uses the commander's ETB to swap life with a high-life opponent, drawing a massive hand, then stabilises with lifegain from Soul Warden-type effects. Primary wins come from an infinite loop: Bloodthirsty Conqueror paired with Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose or Vizkopa Guildmage creates unstoppable drain. A secondary line uses Repay in Kind to set all life to the lowest, protected by Angel's Grace, followed by Near-Death Experience. Flicker spells (Ephemerate, Teleportation Circle) reuse the commander's ETB and other value triggers, generating card advantage and enabling multiple life swaps.
