Deck overview

This mono-black aristocrats deck harnesses Sephiroth, Fabled SOLDIER to turn disposable creature fodder into steady card advantage, life drain, and an unremovable win condition. The early game focuses on deploying efficient token engines like Bitterblossom and Ophiomancer before casting Sephiroth on Turn 3. By Turn 4, the deck connects in combat to draw cards and accumulate death triggers. On Turn 5, it triggers Sephiroth's transformation into Sephiroth, One-Winged Angel, generating an indestructible emblem that drains opponents whenever any creature dies across the table. High-density drain payoffs like Blood Artist, Bastion of Remembrance, and Marionette Apprentice amplify this life loss alongside explosive cards like Tombstone Stairwell and The Meathook Massacre. While vulnerable to stack-based combo wins and lacking targeted protection, the deck boasts exceptional resilience, high card draw velocity, and reliable inevitable closing power.
