Commander: The Great Goblin

Deck overview

This is a Rakdos Goblin/Orc tribal deck helmed by The Great Goblin, built around the "amass" mechanic and token synergies. The primary game plan is to generate a massive Army token through amass triggers, then leverage the commander's damage ability and combat pump effects to overwhelm opponents. The deck features a strong recursion subtheme with cards like Along the Crooked Way and Gathering of Darkness, allowing it to grind out value. Key win conditions include a massive Assault on Osgiliath turn, Krenko, Mob Boss generating an overwhelming board, and Boggart Cursecrafter draining the table. The commander provides both a damage payoff for counter placement and a card advantage engine from creature deaths.
