Deck overview

This Esper Commander deck utilizes Jin Sakai, Ghost of Tsushima as both a lethal Voltron finisher and a consistent card engine. By attacking alone, Jin chooses between granting himself double strike (Standoff) or unblockability (Ghost). This turns high-stat Equipment like Excalibur, Sword of Eden and Blackblade Reforged into one-shot lethal commander damage while drawing multiple cards per turn cycle. The deck ensures high consistency through premier equipment tutors (Stoneforge Mystic, Steelshaper's Gift, Cloud, Midgar Mercenary) and equip-cost reducers (Puresteel Paladin, Forge Anew, Ardenn, Intrepid Archaeologist). A stax package featuring Grand Arbiter Augustin IV, Deafening Silence, Silent Arbiter, and Loxodon Gatekeeper slows down opposing development and shuts down wide boards. Finally, robust plan protection from Robe of Stars, Mithril Coat, Teferi's Protection, and free counterspells shields Jin across successive combat turns until all three opponents are eliminated.
