Toph Deck (OLD) by greenbeans

Format: Commander

Commander: Toph, Earthbending Master

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a mono-green land-animation deck built around Toph, Earthbending Master. The core strategy is to grow Toph's experience counters through landfall triggers, then animate lands into huge, hasty creatures using his attack-triggered "earthbend" ability. The deck is packed with additional earthbend cards, counter-doubling effects (Branching Evolution, The Earth Crystal), and extra-land-drop enablers (Azusa, Lost but Seeking, Oracle of Mul Daya) to accelerate the number of landfall triggers and the size of the animated lands. The primary win condition is overwhelming combat damage from a swarm of enormous land-creatures, backed by finishers like Mossborn Hydra and Quilled Greatwurm. There are no infinite combos; the deck relies on incremental value and a resilient creature-land board to grind out the table.
