Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Jund combat and token midrange strategy commanded by Ognis, the Dragon's Lash. The game plan revolves around deploying low-cost haste creatures and ramp on the opening turns, casting Ognis on Turn 3, and immediately swinging to generate a continuous stream of tapped Treasure tokens. These tokens accelerate high-impact payoffs such as Goldspan Dragon, Korvold, Fae-Cursed King, and Academy Manufactor. Rather than relying on slow combat attrition, the deck converts token production into rapid table-wide damage using aristocrat burn engines like Mirkwood Bats, Marionette Master, Ingenious Artillerist, and Reckless Fireweaver. A compact infinite combo featuring Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker and Zealous Conscripts serves as an alternate win route. Strong permanent interaction from Assassin's Trophy and Beast Within handles opposing threats, while Ognis's innate haste ensures rapid recovery from board wipes.
