Auntie Ool, 2 by Mintsauce

Format: Commander

Commander: Auntie Ool, Cursewretch

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Jund -1/-1-counter value/combo deck. Auntie Ool, Cursewretch turns counter placement into either card draw or life-loss, and her Ward-Blight 2 tax makes her awkward to remove, but she is an engine rather than the win condition. The real work is done by the 99: Yawgmoth, Thran Physician, Nest of Scarabs, Flourishing Defenses, and Blowfly Infestation create an interlocking counter economy, while Blood Artist and Zulaport Cutthroat convert that economy into a table kill. Secondary paths include locking combat with Kulrath Knight and Everlasting Torment, stealing opponents' boards via Necroskitter and The Reaper, King No More, and shooting the table with All Will Be One. The deck can pivot between combo, control, and grind roles and does not need the commander to execute any of its primary kill lines.
