Deck overview

This deck is a high-power Grixis control-combo strategy commanded by Kefka, Court Mage // Kefka, Ruler of Ruin. The deck leverages efficient mana acceleration, low-cost removal, and free defensive interaction to control the early table before deploying Kefka on Turn 4. Upon entry and attack, Kefka forces symmetrical discard across all four players while drawing multiple cards based on the discarded card types, rapidly dismantling opposing hands while maintaining immense card advantage. The deck capitalizes on this resource disparity by pivoting into compact win conditions, primarily the Dualcaster Mage and Molten Duplication infinite token combo or an Enduring Tenacity and Exquisite Blood life-drain loop. Supporting pieces like Dauthi Voidwalker, Teferi, Mage of Zhalfir, and Sheoldred, the Apocalypse exert asymmetric pressure and lock opponents out of reactive play. With flexible protection and robust card velocity, the deck swiftly recovers from disruption and finishes the game in a single decisive turn.
