This deck is an Azorius control and big-spells archetype piloted by Elminster. The strategy focuses on setting up early mana acceleration and topdeck manipulation via scry mechanics and library-filtering spells. Once Elminster resolves on Turn 4, it leverages scry triggers to heavily reduce the casting costs of high-impact instants and sorceries while using its loyalty abilities to filter cards and build a massive evasive board presence. By manipulating the top card of the library with cards like Brainstorm, Brainsurge, or Sensei's Divining Top, Elminster's -3 ability exiles high-mana-value spells such as Temporal Trespass or Storm Herd to deploy 8 to 11 flying Faerie Dragons in a single turn.
