Deck overview

This deck is a Simic +1/+1 counters and X-spell deck commanded by Zimone, Infinite Analyst. The primary game plan revolves around casting Zimone on curve, then triggering her ability with scaled X-spells to build counters and generate permanent mana discounts. As the discount compounds, the deck transitions from early ramp into massive threats like Primordial Hydra, Primo, the Unbounded, and Goldvein Hydra, alongside explosive draw spells like Mathemagics and Pull from Tomorrow. Parallel engines like Unbound Flourishing and Elementalist's Palette accelerate mana output dramatically. The deck closes games around Turn 8 through wide and tall combat damage backed by trample from Nev, the Practical Dean or evasion from Deekah, Fractal Theorist. While resilient against single-target disruption thanks to counter savers like The Ozolith, the strategy remains vulnerable to board wipes and lacks hard stax or infinite combos.
