Deck overview

This is a classic Mardu Vampire aggro-midrange list helmed by Edgar Markov. The primary plan is to leverage Eminence from the command zone: every Vampire spell minting a free 1/1 token while you flood the board with low-curve tribal bodies, then convert that width into a win through anthems (Shared Animosity, Coat of Arms, Warleader's Call), attack drains (Sanctum Seeker, Throne of the God-Pharaoh), and aristocrats payoffs (Blood Artist, Cruel Celebrant, Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose). Edgar Markov himself is a haste threat whose attack anthem finishes games, but the 99 already executes the swarm plan with him parked in the zone. Secondary angles include life-total warping via Bloodletter of Aclazotz and Malakir Bloodwitch, plus grindy recursion from Bloodghast, Oathsworn Vampire, and Nullpriest of Oblivion. The deck wins by overwhelming the table with bodies and draining everyone at once rather than a single brittle combo turn.
