Deck overview

This deck is a high-powered Simic Landfall and Big Mana strategy commanded by Aesi, Tyrant of Gyre Strait. The primary game plan focuses on rapid early-game mana acceleration using low-cost creatures, enchantments, and sorceries to cast Aesi on Turn 3 or 4. Once Aesi is active, every land drop replaces itself and fuels further land deployment, quickly drawing deep into the library. On Turn 5, the deck transitions into a lethal threat state by deploying token swarms via Avenger of Zendikar, Scute Swarm, or Rampaging Baloths, or resolving mass land-churn engines like Cultivator Colossus and Scapeshift. On Turn 6, the deck converts this massive board presence into an immediate win using Craterhoof Behemoth, Finale of Devastation, or an overloaded Cyclonic Rift. Additionally, the deck features an infinite combo between Meloku the Clouded Mirror and Kodama of the East Tree that creates infinite Illusion tokens and draws the library.
