Deck overview

This Jund deck is an explosive aggro-combo strategy commanded by Mr. Orfeo, the Boulder, built to exploit massive base-power creatures and convert them into lethal one-shot eliminations. The deck accelerates through a dense suite of 22+ one- and two-mana ramp pieces, consistently deploying Mr. Orfeo on Turn 3 and an enormous threat such as Yargle and Multani, Malignus, or Ghalta, Primal Hunger on Turn 4. When attacking, Orfeo doubles the creature's power, immediately threatening 36 to 40+ power attacks. The deck translates this raw power into game-ending bursts through combat enhancers like Temur Battle Rage, Berserk, and Tainted Strike, or direct-damage flings like Chandra's Ignition, Fling, Essence Harvest, and Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord. While it lacks heavy tutoring and countermagic protection, its high density of redundant beaters, recursion spells, and ultra-efficient spot removal enables rapid, sequential table eliminations by Turn 6.
