Deck overview

This is a Grixis Pirate/Assassin/Vehicle tribal deck helmed by Edward Kenway, built around a massive Treasure subtheme. Edward generates a Treasure for each tapped Pirate, Assassin, or Vehicle at your end step, while his Vehicle-damage trigger exiles the top card of opponents' libraries for you to cast. The deck floods the board with cheap Pirates and Vehicles, converts that into a torrent of Treasures via Malcolm, Keen-Eyed Navigator, Breeches, Eager Pillager, Cutthroat Negotiator, and Pitiless Plunderer, then closes the game either through the Revel in Riches alternate win (ten Treasures at upkeep) or a Port Razer + Angrath's Marauders extra-combat damage chain. Secondary pings from Reckless Fireweaver, Shao Jun, and Alchemist's Talent add reach. It is a midrange value deck that wins through board development and Treasure accumulation rather than a fast combo.
