Thassa BS concept by bladeruner3

Format: Commander

Commander: Ertai, the Corrupted

Bracket: 5

Deck overview

Ertai, the Corrupted heads an Esper control-combo deck whose primary plan is to win through Thassa's Oracle and Demonic Consultation by emptying the library. The commander provides a repeatable counterspell that can sacrifice enchantments or creatures, buying time while a dense tutor package assembles the combo. Secondary paths use Jace, Wielder of Mysteries and Laboratory Maniac with Leveler or Paradigm Shift, plus a Doomsday pile. With 36 lands, low average mana value, and tax effects like Grand Arbiter, Propaganda, and Sphere of Safety, the deck is built to control the table and then win in one clean turn.
