Deck overview

This deck leverages Jace, Multiverse Architect as both a defensive pillowfort piece and a polymorph engine in the command zone. Supported by cheap artifact mana across all four non-green colors, the deck rapidly establishes early token generators like Bitterblossom and Skrelv's Hive. On turn 4, Jace enters and immediately uses his minus-3 loyalty ability to transform an expendable token into an overwhelming creature or planeswalker bomb. Backing this strategy is a redundant polymorph suite including Divergent Transformations, Mass Polymorph, and Synthetic Destiny. Free defensive spells like Fierce Guardianship and Deflecting Swat protect Jace during vulnerable windows. Once game-ending threats like Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur, Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite, and Archfiend of Despair enter the battlefield, opposing resources dwindle rapidly, allowing the deck to close the game through asymmetric combat damage over two combat cycles.
