Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis discard and attrition control strategy led by Kefka, Court Mage. It accelerates mana on Turn 2 to resolve a discard payoff on Turn 3 and deploy Kefka on Turn 4. Upon entering and attacking, Kefka forces symmetric discard across all four players while drawing cards for each unique card type discarded. The deck breaks parity using Waste Not, Liliana's Caress, Fell Specter, and Sheoldred, the Apocalypse, turning empty hands into life drain, mana, and Zombie tokens. A suite of low-cost blink spells, such as Essence Flux and Ghostly Flicker, serves double duty as commander protection and trigger generation. Once opponents are forced into topdeck mode on Turn 5, the deck finishes the game by Turn 7 through overwhelming card advantage, incremental burn, and token combat.
