Deck overview

This deck is a synergistic Jund control and aristocrats engine commanded by Auntie Ool, Cursewretch. It leverages -1/-1 counters to generate massive card advantage, suppress opposing creatures, and drain life totals. The game plan focuses on establishing early ramp into Auntie Ool, followed by token engines such as Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons and Nest of Scarabs. Mass counter distributors like Carnifex Demon, Soul Snuffers, and Yawgmoth, Thran Physician turn -1/-1 counters into one-sided board wipes that bypass indestructible creatures. Powerful control pieces like Kulrath Knight and Maha, Its Feathers Night lock opponents out of creature-based combat and ensure continuous creature removal. The deck closes games through aristocrat drain with Obelisk Spider and Grave Venerations, wide token combat, or the infinite power loop of Devoted Druid and Quillspike. It excels at grinding out creature-heavy tables through card flow and asymmetric attrition.
