Deck overview

This deck is a mono-black Zombie tribal swarm strategy commanded by Ghoulcaller Gisa. The primary game plan revolves around deploying disproportionately high-power, low-cost creatures such as Rotting Regisaur and Yargle, Glutton of Urborg to serve as premium sacrifice fodder. Once Gisa untaps, she converts these massive creatures into overwhelming armies of 2/2 Zombie tokens. The deck amplifies this board presence using traditional Zombie lords like Death Baron, Cemetery Reaper, and Liliana's Mastery, which grant lethal combat boosts, menace, and deathtouch. Concurrently, sacrifice synergy pieces like Grave Pact and Sothera, the Supervoid punish opponents by stripping their boards of blockers whenever Gisa activates. While the deck possesses formidable board-swarming capability and robust creature removal, it is constrained by limited protection for its commander, a lack of noncreature interaction, and reliance on multi-turn combat steps to close games.
