Deck overview

This competitive Gruul deck aims to accelerate rapidly into its commander, Etali, Primal Conqueror, or assemble compact two-card combos to eliminate the entire table on Turn 3. Using a dense package of 0-1 CMC mana artifacts, spirit guides, and high-yield rituals like Treasonous Ogre and Jeska's Will, the deck races to 7 mana. Upon resolving, Etali exiles and casts the top nonland card from each player's library for free. The deck leverages temporary clone spells such as Twinflame, Heat Shimmer, and Molten Duplication to create token copies of Etali, generating cascading waves of free spells that overwhelm the table. Alternatively, the deck can bypass the commander entirely by assembling infinite haste attackers through Dualcaster Mage and Twinflame, or infinite creature mana and cast triggers via Food Chain and Squee, the Immortal. Robust interaction and protection cards ensure win attempts resolve through countermagic.
