Deck overview

This deck is a Dimir Zombie tribal aristocrats engine commanded by Wilhelt, the Rotcleaver. It focuses on generating recurring Zombie tokens, leveraging sacrificial value engines, and draining opponents through life-loss triggers. During the early turns, it deploys efficient Zombie enablers such as Cryptbreaker, Jadar, Ghoulcaller of Nephalia, and mana rocks before casting Wilhelt on Turn 4 to unlock steady card advantage. In the mid-game, it pivots into crushing board control using Grave Pact and Noxious Ghoul to keep opposing creature boards empty while building a formidable undead army. The deck closes games around Turn 8 through aristocrat drain triggers from Diregraf Captain, Plague Belcher, and Gray Merchant of Asphodel, explosive mana turns via Rooftop Storm and Phyrexian Altar, or unblockable alpha strikes enabled by Zombie Master and Geralf, Visionary Stitcher. Its dense graveyard recursion ensures high resilience against board wipes.
