Deck overview

Araumi of the Dead Tide commands a Dimir reanimator strategy centered on turning the graveyard into an explosive toolbox. The deck fills its graveyard through early cantrips, looting, and targeted self-mill like Glimpse the Unthinkable. Once Araumi is active, she grants creature cards encore, generating three token copies with haste to attack each opponent simultaneously. Payoffs like Grave Titan, Consuming Aberration, and Plaguecrafter deliver overwhelming board presence, mass edicts, and heavy combat damage. If opponents disrupt Araumi, high-impact artifacts and planeswalkers like Bolas's Citadel and Liliana, Death's Majesty sustain development, while Back from the Brink provides alternate token reanimation. The deck uses versatile black and blue removal alongside Toxic Deluge to control opposing boards while assembling lethal damage across multiple combats. While vulnerable to targeted graveyard hate and summoning sickness delays, Araumi offers exceptional card flow and massive explosive turns that overwhelm the table.
