Deck overview

This Dimir control deck uses Toxrill, the Corrosive to dominate the battlefield through continuous, asymmetric creature attrition. The deck focuses on accelerating into its seven-mana commander by Turn 5 using mana rocks, rituals, and Swamp-doubling engines such as Cabal Coffers and Crypt Ghast. Once Toxrill enters play, it places slime counters on every opponent's end step, systematically dismantling opposing creature boards, suppressing commanders, and spawning an army of 1/1 Slug tokens. These tokens fuel card-draw engines like Skullclamp and Toxrill's own activated ability while generating Treasures with Revel in Riches. Synergies with Maha, Its Feathers Night and M.O.D.O.K. establish immediate board locks by reducing opposing base toughness to zero. When Toxrill is contested, the deck pivots seamlessly to backup threats including a fast Marit Lage token from Dark Depths, Eldrazi titans, and game-ending drain effects from Massacre Wurm.
