Deck overview

This deck is a high-power competitive mono-blue storm and artifact combo engine led by Geist of Saint Thalia. The commander provides a constant one-mana discount on all noncreature spells, turning low-cost artifacts and cantrips into free spells and rapid mana acceleration. The primary game plan combines the commander's cost reduction with Mystic Forge or The Reality Chip and Sensei's Divining Top. Because the commander makes the Top free to cast, players can repeatedly draw their library, generate infinite storm count, and win immediately on Turn 4 using Thassa's Oracle or Aetherflux Reservoir. A rich suite of zero-mana counterspells like Force of Will and Fierce Guardianship defends the combo, while Cursed Totem and Narset, Parter of Veils disrupt opposing strategies. If the commander is removed, backup lines using Hullbreaker Horror or Palinchron provide dependable alternate routes to victory with minimal delay.
