Deck overview

This Orzhov deck is an Angel Tribal and Reanimator engine led by Shilgengar, Sire of Famine. The strategy leverages cost reduction, self-mill, and targeted entomb effects to stock the graveyard with high-impact Angels. Once Shilgengar is cast, sacrificing an Angel instantly generates a burst of Blood tokens equal to its toughness. Spending three mana and sacrificing six Blood tokens enables Shilgengar to resurrect the entire graveyard at instant speed. The reanimated army establishes an immediate asymmetric lock through Linvala, Keeper of Silence, Avacyn, Angel of Hope, and Serra's Emissary, while Righteous Valkyrie inflates the board's power. Massive evasive damage closes out the game over three combat cycles. Supporting spells like Eerie Interlude and Solemnity provide plan resilience by bypassing finality counter restrictions and dodging sweepers.
