Deck overview

This deck is an Azorius Stax and Control deck commanded by Absolute Virtue. The deck's central strategy revolves around deploying dense, redundant Rule of Law effects (Rule of Law, Archon of Emeria, Eidolon of Rhetoric) and taxing permanents (Grand Arbiter Augustin IV, Aura of Silence, Thalia, Heretic Cathar, Blind Obedience) during the early turns to suppress opposing combo lines, multi-spell turns, and aggressive creature assaults. Meanwhile, high-power passive card engines like Rhystic Study, Mystic Remora, and Trouble in Pairs generate a continuous stream of cards, while an elite counterspell and removal suite protects the board. Once the game tempo is stabilized, the deck ramps into Absolute Virtue on Turn 6, providing an uncounterable 8/8 flying clock and total player-level protection. The commander steadily eliminates opponents via commander damage, supported by equipment like Genji Glove or an incidental backup alternate win via Laboratory Maniac with Leveler or Thought Lash.
