Deck overview

Despite sporting the "Friends forever" partner pair, this is really a five-color enchantment/artifact rules-matrix deck. Othelm, Sigardian Outcast and Bjorna, Nightfall Alchemist supply the broad color identity and occasional utility, but the actual engine is a stack of global permanents that change the rules of the game. The deck wants to resolve Bello, Bard of the Brambles or Opalescence, then animate its high-mana-value enchantments and artifacts - Enchanted Evening, Hive Mind, Mycosynth Lattice, and the various Gods - into an indestructible, hasty, card-drawing army. The principal unfair line is Enduring Ideal, whose Epic copies fetch Enchanted Evening then Opalescence to turn every land into a 0/0 and wipe the table's mana, after which Purphoros, God of the Forge can burn everyone out. It is a slow, durdly, rules-heavy control/combat deck where the commanders are support rather than the main plan.
