Deck overview

This Golgari deck pairs Zombie tribal swarm mechanics with Equipment voltron synergies under Enkira, Hostile Scavenger. The primary strategy accelerates mana in the opening turns to deploy Enkira ahead of curve alongside two 2/2 Walker tokens. By attaching Equipment to Enkira, she forces all opposing creatures to block her while gaining indestructible as long as two Zombies attack alongside her. This turns Enkira into a lethal combat lure that continuously consumes opposing blockers, especially when combined with deathtouch gear like Basilisk Collar or board-wiping artifacts like Kusari-Gama. Meanwhile, unblocked Zombie tokens and heavy hitters apply compounding combat pressure. The deck closes games around Turns 6 to 8 using overrun payoffs such as Beastmaster Ascension, Overwhelming Stampede, or God-Eternal Rhonas, supported by flexible Golgari removal and targeted permanent protection.
