Deck overview

This deck is a mono-black artifact aristocrats and combo strategy commanded by Imotekh the Stormlord. The primary plan leverages Imotekh's token-generating trigger whenever artifact cards leave the graveyard. By pairing artifact sacrifice outlets like Ashnod's Altar or Krark-Clan Ironworks with self-recurring artifact creatures like Myr Retriever, Junk Diver, and Scrap Trawler, the deck creates an infinite loop of mana, creature tokens, and death triggers. These loops instantly drain the table with blood-artist effects like Marionette Apprentice, Disciple of the Vault, and Psychomancer. Secondary value plans utilize Bolas's Citadel, Skullclamp, and Buried Alive to generate massive card advantage and rapidly assemble combo pieces. While resilient against creature-based strategies and capable of explosive same-turn finishes, the list is vulnerable to instant-speed graveyard exile and lacks stack-based countermagic.
