THRANDUIL B2 v1.0 by miggycar

Format: Commander

Commander: Thranduil, the Elvenking

Bracket: 5

Deck overview

Thranduil, the Elvenking turns every Elf in the graveyard into a toolbox, so the deck is built to stock the bin with mana elves and untap enablers. Primary plan is a fast activated-ability combo: mill/tutor key Elves, cast Thranduil, then use Devoted Druid plus Immaculate Magistrate to generate infinite green mana and counters, finishing through Walking Ballista. Secondary plans use Necrotic Ooze or Agatha's Soul Cauldron as solo combo bodies, and Lathril/Thranduil can beat down if disrupted. The commander is single-faced; there is no hidden commander. Thranduil is both the primary engine and the most efficient combo piece, but the deck has enough backup lines to function at moderate level without him.
