Deck overview

This deck is a Temur Dragon tribal strategy helmed by Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm. The game plan focuses on spending the opening turns ramping mana with low-cost sorceries and cost reducers to cast Miirym ahead of curve on turn 4 or 5. Once Miirym enters the battlefield, every subsequent nontoken Dragon creates a duplicate copy. This triggers explosive enters-the-battlefield abilities from cards like Terror of the Peaks and Scourge of Valkas, while draw engines like Temur Ascendancy and Garruk's Uprising refill the hand with multiple cards per spell. Combat enablers such as Atarka, World Render and Dragon Tempest provide haste and double strike, turning duplicated fliers into lethal table-wide damage. The deck relies on high threat density, massive airborne damage, and incidental burn rather than infinite combos to overwhelm opponents.
