Frodo and Sam - from scratch by CDANGEROUSLY21

Format: Commander

Commander: Sam, Loyal Attendant and Frodo, Adventurous Hobbit

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Sam, Loyal Attendant and Frodo, Adventurous Hobbit form a Food/lifegain value engine. Sam creates a Food each combat and makes Food activations cost one less, while Frodo turns lifegain into Ring tempts and cards. The deck also runs the hidden Pippin/Merry partner pair: Pippin generates Foods and gives mass haste, while Merry produces lifelink Soldiers. The primary win is an Exquisite Blood loop with any drain-on-lifegain permanent (Dina, Enduring Tenacity, Starscape Cleric, or Sanguine Bond). Secondary lines go wide with Halfling tokens, Pippin's pump, Akroma's Will, or The Wind Crystal overrun. Sorin of House Markov adds repeatable drain via extort and his transformed planeswalker ability.
