Deck overview

This deck is a resilient Jund Aristocrats and Reanimator strategy commanded by Slimefoot and Squee. The primary game plan revolves around leveraging the commander's ability to return itself and another creature from the graveyard to the battlefield for {1}{B}{R}{G} by sacrificing a Saproling token. Early turns focus on ramping and filling the graveyard with high-impact creatures such as Protean Hulk, Korvold, Fae-Cursed King, and Syr Konrad, the Grim using tutors like Entomb and Buried Alive. Once the commander enters the battlefield and generates Saproling tokens, it bypasses traditional commander tax by operating directly out of the graveyard. The deck wins by looping sacrifice triggers with aristocrat outlets such as Blood Artist, Mayhem Devil, and Mirkwood Bats, or executing a lethal combo via Protean Hulk into Chatterfang, Squirrel General and Pitiless Plunderer. The deck possesses rapid engine recovery, exceptional card draw, and flexible removal.
