Deck overview

This Izzet deck turns expensive noncreature spells into lethal direct damage. The commander, The Emperor of Palamecia, acts as early ramp before transforming into The Lord Master of Hell once three 4-mana spells are cast. Once transformed, each attack step triggers Starfall, dealing direct damage to all opponents based on the number of noncreature spells in the graveyard. The deck ramps on early turns using artifacts, then chains card-draw and looting spells like Fact or Fiction and Big Score to stock the graveyard. Synergies like Harmonic Prodigy, Veyran, Voice of Duality, and Tellah, Great Sage double triggers and generate extra card advantage. Defensive tools like Aetherize and Aetherspouts protect life totals while the graveyard expands. The deck closes games around Turn 8 through massive unblockable Starfall triggers and supplementary burn from Vivi Ornitier and Delayed Blast Fireball.
